Type

Display, headings and interface are set in Inter, designed by Rasmus Andersson. Essay prose is set in Libre Caslon Text, designed by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida. Both are released under the SIL Open Font License and are served from this site, subset to Latin and the diacritics of the author's name.

Tools

Content is written in Markdown, kept in git, and validated at build time. The site is built with Next.js and TypeScript, styled with the design system's tokens, and hosted on Vercel. Diagrams are drawn in Adobe Illustrator and published as SVG.

Versioning

Every piece carries a version number. Version 1.0 is the first published text. Revisions raise the number and add a dated note to the change log at the end of the piece. Drafts below 1.0 appear on preview builds only. Addresses are permanent: a piece that is renamed keeps its old address as a redirect.
