Kunle Sholademi identity and design system

A monogram, a wordmark with the name's diacritics intact, six colours, two type families, and the rules that hold a personal site together.

Context

A personal identity for an author-designer whose work sits between philosophy and design. It had to carry a name with diacritics (Kúnlé Ṣhọládèmí), work at the size of a favicon and the width of a footer, and set the rules for a site built to last.

What I did

Designed the SK monogram and the wordmark, and drew the strapline lockup: Design · Art · Philosophy. Fixed a six-colour palette: white, paper, linen, taupe, umber and ink. Paired two type families with a strict split: Inter for display, headings and interface; Libre Caslon Text for essay prose only. Wrote the rules for corners (square), rules (one-pixel linen), photography (monochrome) and motion (fades only), and packaged them as tokens and a component kit.

What it changed
